Repair Air Condition for MV. GOLDEN SURABAYA

MV. GOLDEN SURABAYA (IMO: 9723526) is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2017, operating under the flag of Hong Kong and ABS Classification. It is carrying capacity is 181046 t DWT with a length overall (LOA) is 292 meters and a width is 45 meters.

On 30th Dec. 2023, after receiving requirement from Ship Owner, Nice Sea Company Limited mobilized manpowers, all necessary equipment and started coming to Hoa Phat – Dung Quat port – Quang Ngai province to carry out repair air conditioner of MV. GOLDEN SURABAYA.

After reaching the vessel, our team carried out inspection air conditioner and found that it still worked but had no cooling ability.

-  Our technician’ve found the cause of the air conditioner’s inability to cool due to:

• The machine's gaskets and components are not suitable, so we replace them with new components.

• The suction accumulator leaking inside. We informed C/E and unified plan to replace the new suction accumulator for vessel

• Our technicians carried out take measurements of the suction accumulator for fabrication and replacement by new one.

-   As a result of replacement, operation test air conditioner with C/E. The air conditioner works normally.

After 4 working days with the tireless efforts of our team of technicians, supervisors and equipment, we completed work with the satisfaction of Capt, Chief, Officer and the shipowner.
