Underwater inspection for MV KENYO

KEN YO (IMO: 9547154) is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2012 (11 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Panama.

It is  carrying capacity is 38462 t DWT and her current draught is reported to be 10.1 meters. Her length overall (LOA) is 184.75 meters and her width is 30.6 meters.

On March 9th. 2023, after receiving requirement from Ship Owner, Nice Sea Company Limited prepared all necessary equipment and started coming to Vissai port – Nghe An province to carry out underwater inspection for hull overall of Ken Yo vessel

With many years of experience in underwater work, Nice Sea team always strictly follow the procedure before diving:

In the first step, person in charge had safety meeting with Captain, Chief Officer , and Chief Engineer to unify with working time, diving plan, scope of job, safety procedure, possible risks influence to underwater work

After consolidating all information with the ship's representative, the team leader carefully checked the specialized equipment according to its own standards based on the conditions and diving plan; prepared all documents, drawings related to the ship and diving work

Within 4 hours working, Nice Sea Company Limited completed underwater inspection for hull overall: Flat Bottom, Vertical Sides, Rudders, Bilge Keel, Bulbous Bow, Propeller, Sea Chest Grids by CCTV and recorded diving data

After working, Nice Sea Company Limited issued diving record, photo record, DVD record and submit to Ship Owner.
